Reserve Tac Group 47
Reserve Tactical Group 47 began with what command referred to … and I quote … the “has beens” of Starfleet.
When the need for more starships became very much apparent, Starfleet Command had no choose to look for starships wherever possible to fill the growing gaps in the overall fleets deployment.
One of the options tapped was to seek out older starships from past eras that were in such shape that they could either be refitted quickly and pushed back into service filling lesser roles so as used for patrol, resupply and transport missions.
The RTG-47 finds its origins with the coming together of outdated designs forced into a modern universe where they will have to toe a harder line if they are to survive and overcome the challenges ahead.
So begins the “Road to Redemption.”
Author’s Note: I choose to separate my ships into squadrons which are broken down by the character they fall under in Star Trek Online. Example: If one of my character’s has two starships he can use, they are attached to his squadron.
SHIPS OF THE GROUP
U.S.S. Star Empire — NCC-92331
Federation-class refitted Medium Cruiser / RTG-47 Flagship

The Star Empire has a place in history well marked in that it was originally built within Starfleet with the secret purpose to be used to overthrow Starfleet and help place the Federation under military rule.
Those who originally designed what was once a dreadnought stole the starship in an attempt to keep it out of the hands of those who wished to use it against the Federation as well as fought to expose the conspiracy.
Thanks to these individuals and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise (NCC-1701), the conspiracy was exposed and the insurrection put down before it had a chance to begin.
With the current need of starships high, the Star Empire was pulled from life as a reenacting ship, refitted to meet modern standards, and returned to active duty.
Currently, the U.S.S. Star Empire is under the command of Lt. Cmdr. Adoy.

U.S.S. Rockbridge — NCC-??????
Centaur-class Light Cruiser (science)
Status: forthcoming
The Rockbridge is currently under the command of Lt. Allen Sollace.
This starship begins as an old style Constitution-class which will later be replaced by a science ship as it blazes its way through the stars.

U.S.S. Andúril — NX-??????
Original Constitution-class light cruiser

A ship ripped from the pages of Starfleet history, the U.S.S. Andúril was created when the Starfleet Corps of Engineers took the shattered remains of two other Constitution-class starships to create one new starship that would shine as a beacon of hope in a dark and uncertain time.
Following several years of service, the Andúril was moved from the active roster into Starfleet’s “Ghost Fleet” where it was transferred into the care of the Smithsonian Institute of Starfleet History for use as a reenacting vessel.
Considering the current need for starships, it was restored to the active roster and assigned to be refitted again by the Starfleet Corps of Engineers who took great and extra care with protecting what they see as a historical treasure.
The ship is currently under the command of Lt. Shras Aldin’Rha.

U.S.S. Albion — NCC-??????
CENTAR-class Light Cruiser (escort)

The Albion begins under the command of Lt. Adoy but will later be commanded by Lt. Sarreece Kai.
